1	HijackThis™ HijackThis™ is a free utility from TrendMicro™ which quickly scans your Windows computer to find settings that may have been changed by spyware, malware or other unwanted programs. HijackThis creates a report, or log file, with the results of the scan. Advanced users can use HijackThis™ to remove unwanted settings or files.	263
2	Unlocker Unlocker is an excellent free program, by Cedrick Collomb, that will let you find and kill a process which has locked a file. Very handy when you are trying to delete a spyware file that is locked by a process that automatically restarts.	263
3	LSP-Fix LSP-Fix is a free Windows utility which can be used to repair a loss of network connectivity, associated with a corrupted Layered Service Provider (LSP), by facilitating an individual LSP's selective removal. An LSP is one part of a chain of programs, which together make up the TCP/IP stack. If an LSP is broken or buggy, this chain can be broken, which can cause a loss of connectivity.	239
4	WinSockFix WinSockFix a last resort TCP/IP stack reset utility for Windows. It can typically restore a loss of network connectivity caused by errant registry entries, removal of malware components or improper uninstallation of firewall applications.	512
5	Anti-Malware Anti-Malware is a great little program from Malwarebytes. It has proven to be very adept at getting rid of some of the more nasty evilware.	245
6	SUPERAntiSpyware SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition is another great program for removing some of the more insidious malware.	232
7	UnHackMe UnHackMe from Greatis Software allows you to detect and remove rootkits. A rootkit has the ability to hide it's files, registry keys, process names and network connections from typical detection methods. In my limited experience, this tool was able to detect and remove rootkits on several systems.	266
8	Spybot-S&D An oldie but goodie, Spybot - Search & Destroy is a free malware removal and prevention program from Safer Networking. It has some nice real time protection features that make it extremely useful for older operating systems. On newer systems, I use it primarily for the "immunization" feature, once the PC is already clean, to prevent future infection.	236
9	Wireshark Wireshark® is the world's most popular network protocol analyzer. It has a rich and powerful feature set and runs on most computing platforms including Windows, OS X, Linux, and UNIX. Network professionals, security experts, developers, and educators around the world use it regularly. It is freely available as open source, and is released under the GNU General Public License version 2. It is developed and maintained by a global team of protocol experts.	221
10	Bulk Rename Utility Bulk Rename Utility is a free file renaming utility for Windows that allows you to easily rename files and entire folders based upon extremely flexible criteria.	228
